Pond Care Polyester Pre-Filter Pads for Ponds

Replacement prefilter pads for the Pond Care submersible filter. Pads have two distinct layers of non-woven polyester. The first layer removes coarse debris, such as plant fragments, uneaten fish food, and leaves. The second ultra-fine layer traps suspended soil particles, dead algae, and other water discoloring materials. The result is crystal clear pond water. Clumps of algae can clog pond pump intakes. Use the filter pads in a prefilter box to remove debris before it clogs the pump. The Pre-Filter Pads work in any filter. Non-woven polyester replacement filter pads designed to last longer & filter pond water better than regular foam pads. Dual-action pads with coarse layer, which removes large particles of debris and uneaten fish food, and ultra-fine layer that removes fine particles. Can be used as-is or cut to fit any submersible or out-of-pond filter box. Polyester Pre-Filter Pads measure 12" by 12" (30.5 cm x 30.5 cm). The filter pads can be cut to fit any filter. Several filter pads can be layered or arranged inside the filter.
